Natalie: 5 levels of disease: symptoms, indirect causes, actions, beliefs and identity
Natalie: 2 most dangerous words in medicine: "am" and "have"
For example, "I am diabetic", "I have diabetes"
When we say something about ourselves, it becomes part of our identity, we believe it, then take actions with it, causing it indirectly to show symptoms
When a doctor tells someone they have a disease, that is when the disease starts
Assuming the person makes it a part of their identity and belief system
All they really have are a set of patterns of symptoms
Instead of saying "I am diabetic" which just reinforces it
Say "my physiology expressed a pattern of symptoms that were named diabetes"
This gives you a choice over your physiology
Be mindful of your words: the body follows what the mind believes
That sums it up and was an introduction to a video he has called "the illusion of disease"
Which I'm thinking of purchasing and showing as well

After reading this again I want to add something that really resonated with me about, "Be mindful of your words: the body follows what the mind believes."

When I was under the care of doctors, I have proven that it was only when I believed each diagnosis given to me, did it fully manifest. It's a self fulfilling prophesy. You start out with symptoms that could be caused by anything. Mine were from corporate stress while balancing family/life duties. But when doctors gave it a name, "Fibromyalgia" is when it became serious. That was just the beginning. The medications for Fibromyalgia caused many other symptoms that created many more diagnosis.

Usually, a person is already numb from the first two or three prescriptions and can no longer think rationally.

I hear people "own" sickness labels all the time, even in the raw community. I am looking forward to the release of the film that Natalie learned about, "The Illusion of Disease."

And....when I was under the doctor's care, I saved all my medical records and have a stack on my floor that I use in my research. All the "evidence" to support these labels that were given to me are there. But, when I no longer owned those labels and changed my thoughts and word patterns, the symptoms left. In addition, medical testing now reflects my new thoughts and word patterns, "Vibrant health!"

I am really looking forward to hearing more "Live" reports from Natalie!

Yum!

I made the best tonic ever yesterday! I added cayenne pepper and cinnamon to the mix and it was delicious! These tonics are so easy....I make a pitcher full my VitaMix in the morning, drink throughout the day....and have a kale salad later.

Here is what went into this tonic....I don't usually measure. I'll have a larger scoop (maybe 1 TBS) and a smaller scoop (maybe 1 tsp) and depending upon what it is....I use either large or small scoop.

My Morning Tonic:
Pure Water (I use distilled that has been restructured)
Goji berries (small handful)
RAW Cashews or RAW Almonds (small handful)

Large scoop
:
Chocolate Bliss

Small Scoop:
Maca
MSM

Bee Pollen
Chia seeds
Tocotrienols

Enzymes

To taste:
Agave (I use vanilla)
Sun Fire Salt (or Himalayan Sea Salt)
Cayenne
Cinnamon

So EASY and so GOOD!!!

I'll add my current favorite salad recipe later!

Finally read the article....glad I did!

Last night, I finally got around to reading an article that Robert had saved for me and I'm glad I did. It was a review in the Star about Melody Petersen's book, Our Daily Meds: How the Pharmaceutical Companies Transformed Themselves into Slick Marketing Machines and Hooked the Nation on Prescription Drugs.

This morning, I ordered the book from Amazon. Should be a good resource!

In the New York Times book review by Janet Maslin, she writes, "Could drugs be killing people but escaping all the blame?"

She describes the job duties of a "nosologist" as, "to catalog Iowa's deceased according to cause of death. He processed 27,000 death certificates a year. By his reckoning, only five deaths were caused by adverse reactions to prescriptions drugs in 2002. That low figure is out of whack with Petersen's reporting."

Hmmmm....REALLY?

Have you seen Mercola's video yet?
